The concept of rainbow pride is represented by a rainbow flag which referred as LGBT pride flag or gay pride flag. It symbolizes the pride of transgender, bisexual, gays and lesbians along with the social movements of LGBT. In addition, the rainbow flags are used for symbolizing peace and colours reflecting the diverse nature of LGBT community. With its origination in the North part of California, there is now a global use of the flag. There are a number of broader applications of the rainbow pride for different types of social issues or product. All of the colours on the flag ensure routine utilization for showing the solidarity and identity of LGBT. There is wider recognition of the respective colours for symbolizing LGBT identity and pride ensuring effective replacement for majority of the other symbols of LGBT that include the pink triangle and lambda, the Greek letter. Under the concept of rainbow pride, some common jewellery pieces include freedom rings or pride necklace. These consisted of six different rings with different colours formed as a chain. Other ranges of variants include candles and key chains. In case of Australia, the display of this flag was objected by Liberal Senator Eric Abetz under the Department of Finance based on the fact that neutral stand has to be taken up by government department on political debates.
Homosexuals in Australia are forced for exhibiting specific signs. The homo-hetero combination also develops homosexuals as having inherent inferiority towards heterosexuals. Therefore, the achievement of this success is easy in case of a heterosexual in comparison with homosexuals in both the countries, Vietnam and Australia. Therefore, a number of homosexuals of Vietnam, as per the above figure take the decision of hiding their sexual preferences and desires, for remaining closeted than the homosexuals of Australia. In addition, stigmatizing homosexuality has resulted in the establishment of stereotypes more prominently in Vietnam than Australia (Butler, 2014).
